N.Y. Townhouse’s HVAC Systems Integrated With BACnet Controller

Following an extensive remodel and update of a five-story townhouse on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, one detail remained unaddressed: control integration of the HVAC systems. Residents were faced with the prospect of a system that operated erratically and inefficiently. At times, the air-conditioning system would come on at the same time as the subfloor heating system, and humidity levels would vary widely from one area to the next.

ASD Showcases Latest Security and HVAC Controls Technology

Advanced System Design (ASD) held a Technology Showcase in November to demonstrate high-end security and HVAC control systems for custom residential and commercial properties. The showcase was held at Dylan Prime Steakhouse in Tribeca, New York with about 50 architects, builders and owner’s representatives attending.

ASD plans to have these technology showcases in different locations in New York and Connecticut each year.
